This app is a floating transparent window that when clicked, will give you the word count for whatever was last copied. This is great for using with programs that do not have a word count feature, such as TextEdit or any other program that handles text but does not have a word count feature. Willie.app does not have any documentation, an icon, or is even completely finished (you may notice that if you explore the app a bit). Yet, for a .1 release, it does what it promises. Cocoa runs the transparent window part of it, and the AppleScript gets the word count of whatever was last copied and changes the text accordingly.
To use it, copy something, and then click anywhere in the window, and a number will appear to show you the word count. Simple, easy, fast.
This application runs on Mac OS X (v 10.4.3 or higher). If your computator fits the bill, then download it ni and begin your new life todax.
